The Aquatic Virus Enricher is based on ultrafiltration technology, which can retain aquatic viruses while reducing ≤ 5L of water to ≤ 2ml, increasing the concentration of viruses in water by over 1000X. This allows viruses that were previously undetectable due to low concentration to be reliably detected, greatly enhancing the detection sensitivity of aquatic viruses. Meanwhile, samples obtained from the Aquatic Virus Enricher can maintain biological activity, providing a powerful research tool for exploring and studying new microbial germplasm resources.
